Capital Shield Pest Control is a local, FDACS-licensed pest control company serving Tallahassee, Leon County and Wakulla County. We were built around a single, slightly unfashionable idea: if we treat the source of your pest problem properly and tell you the truth about what you're actually dealing with, you'll trust us — and you'll tell your neighbors.

Why we started

Capital Shield was started by licensed local technicians who had spent years in the Tallahassee pest-control industry and grew tired of how it treats homeowners. Too much of this industry sells recurring contracts and reactive spraying without ever explaining why a Tallahassee home gets the pests it gets — so the problem keeps coming back. We wanted to do the opposite: inspect first, treat the actual source, and educate homeowners so they can make informed decisions. That principle still runs everything we do today.
